Labour market development programs
In order to meet the demands of its’ members of an employment and educational level, the CAP (Congress of Aboriginal Peoples) to which the Native Alliance of Quebec is affiliated, is to negociate an agreement which concerns the development of the labour market of Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSD).
This agreement will allow the administration a part of the financing within the framework of the Native Human Resources Development Strategy. The Native Alliance of Quebec hopes to manage this agreement to:
- Ensure efficient delivery of these programs to its members;
- To help them prepare for the labour market, to obtain and conserve a job, as well as successfully transition to the labour market;
- Inform the members of the NAQ about the numerous existing bursaries and training programs.
- Prepare youth and adults to obtain their full educational potential in order to enjoy the same possibilities as other Quebecors.
